Kashmir Super 30 Inauguration & MoU with Power Grid

After many spoiled attempts due to some unfortunate events in the state, finally happened the official inaugaration ceremony of the foundation batch of Kashmir Super30: An initiative of CSRL and Indian Army. The project is being implemented by CSRL, under the academic mentorship of Abhayanand. , Director General of Police, Bihar, and co-founder of famous Super 30, Patna in collaboration with 15 Corps & 19 Infantry Division of Indian Army and Powergrid. On the occasion, an MoU was also signed between Power Grid and CSRL. While Indian Army will extend infrastructural support, Power Grid will sponsor 15 students of Kashmir Super30 as part of its CSR policy. Power Grid has been a patron to Abhayanand Super30 since long now. Brig. R K Singh and few other Indian Army officials were present at the function along with officials from Power Grid Corporation. The event apparently was also attended by the Kashmir Super30 students, a few parents and Media persons.

IIT JEE (Advance) 2013 Success as narrated by Media

81 gifted minds sail through JEE (Advanced) 2013, Thanks to IPS Abhayanand's guiding hand!

A total of 81 students qualified JEE (Advanced) 2013! These are not just any other bunch of IIT aspirants. They are that PRIVILEGED lot which was blessed with IPS Abhayanand's academic guidance and mentoring and preapred for IIT-JEE 2013 at various residential training centres run under the mentoring of Abhayanand.

Out of these lucky 81, 69 students hail form Abhayanand Super30 centres run pan India by Centre for Social Responsibility & Leadership (CSRL, Delhi) while the rest 12 are from Rahmani 30 and Magadh 30 programmes respectively.

A total of 233 students of Abhayanand Super30 had qualified the Mains exam. They were selected by CSRL for the 2012-13 training session through a rigorous admission process consisting of a written test and interviews. While all of them are differently gifted, they all do share a bond common to them. Each one of them belong to economically modest but highly ambitious families! However, the tables are soon to be turned as these students will bring about an air of prosperous change in their families' lives with a bright future ahead.  Most of the rest of 233 who couldn't qualify JEE (Advance) missed it by the skin off their tooth. They are look forward to JEE (Mains) ranking list and expect to get placed in other reputed engineering colleges viz. NITs/DTU/NSIT/IISERs/IISTetc.

Delhi looks to emulate top cop's coaching model

Students vouch for Abhayanand's passion to teach, Centre plans tie- up with Rahmani 30 in states

The Union human resource development ministry is planning to replicate the free coaching model of the Patnabased Rahmani 30 for training talented minority students to crack entrance tests for the IITs and IIMs.

Rahmani 30 was started in 2009 under the guidance of Bihar's director- general of police Abhayanand to train students aspiring to join the IITs.

He collaborated with Mohammad Wali Rahmani, the secretary of all India Muslim Personal Law Board, to launch the initiative. The minister of state for HRD, Jitin Prasada, recently said the training centres mulled by the Centre could be started later this year in many of the state capitals.

The top cop has been helping students from underprivileged families since 2002 though, to clear IIT- JEE. Apart from Patna, seven centres are run in Gaya, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Jorhat, Mumbai and Jaipur under Abhayanand's guidance.

Recently, a 128- page coffeetable book, Tales of Transformation , was released chronicling the success stories of Abhayanand Super 30 students.

Shivangi, a girl from Kotla Mubarakpur in New Delhi, is one such student. In the coffeetable book, which has self- narrated stories of the students, she wrote: " One man who could teach physics over phone is only Abhayanand Sir." Daughter of a vegetable vendor, Shivangi went from a dingy one- room flat to IITDelhi in 2011.

For the IITs, students have to clear two- tier entrance tests — joint entrance examination ( main) and JEE ( advanced).

Over 12 lakh candidates have appeared JEE ( main) this year and the top 1.5 lakh would be able to appear for the JEE ( advanced).

Those who qualify will be able to get admission in the IITs. For IIMs, candidates have to clear the Common Admission Test ( CAT).

The Union HRD ministry will take help of Rahmani 30 to teach the students. The organisation, which helps Muslim students, will provide the resource persons while the ministry will provide funding and other logistic support.

Prasada, the junior HRD minister, said: " We are talking to Rahmani 30. We want to start the centres in many state capitals this year." The Bihar police boss trains his students at Abhayanand Super 30 in the eight cities in collaboration with Centre for Social Responsibility & Leadership. Rahmani Foundation, Patna, centre manager Shabbir- Ul- Hoda said: " Despite his busy schedule, Abhayanand Sir regularly visits centre on Saturdays, Sundays and other holidays to teach the students. He is always ready to clear the students' doubts through video- conferencing or over the telephone too." Abhayanand said it is passion to teach physics that keeps him going. He said: " Different persons have different ways of relaxation. I relax while teaching students as it gives me peace of mind." Muaz Haider, a student of Rahmani Foundation who cleared this year's IIT- JEE ( main) with 229 marks, said: " Unlike other physics teachers, Abhayanand Sir never solves any problem but makes us think differently to solve it."
