Kashmir Super 30 Inauguration & MoU with Power Grid

After many spoiled attempts due to some unfortunate events in the state, finally happened the official inaugaration ceremony of the foundation batch of Kashmir Super30: An initiative of CSRL and Indian Army. The project is being implemented by CSRL, under the academic mentorship of Abhayanand. , Director General of Police, Bihar, and co-founder of famous Super 30, Patna in collaboration with 15 Corps & 19 Infantry Division of Indian Army and Powergrid. On the occasion, an MoU was also signed between Power Grid and CSRL. While Indian Army will extend infrastructural support, Power Grid will sponsor 15 students of Kashmir Super30 as part of its CSR policy. Power Grid has been a patron to Abhayanand Super30 since long now. Brig. R K Singh and few other Indian Army officials were present at the function along with officials from Power Grid Corporation. The event apparently was also attended by the Kashmir Super30 students, a few parents and Media persons.

81 gifted minds sail through JEE (Advanced) 2013, Thanks to IPS Abhayanand's guiding hand!

A total of 81 students qualified JEE (Advanced) 2013! These are not just any other bunch of IIT aspirants. They are that PRIVILEGED lot which was blessed with IPS Abhayanand's academic guidance and mentoring and preapred for IIT-JEE 2013 at various residential training centres run under the mentoring of Abhayanand.

Out of these lucky 81, 69 students hail form Abhayanand Super30 centres run pan India by Centre for Social Responsibility & Leadership (CSRL, Delhi) while the rest 12 are from Rahmani 30 and Magadh 30 programmes respectively.

A total of 233 students of Abhayanand Super30 had qualified the Mains exam. They were selected by CSRL for the 2012-13 training session through a rigorous admission process consisting of a written test and interviews. While all of them are differently gifted, they all do share a bond common to them. Each one of them belong to economically modest but highly ambitious families! However, the tables are soon to be turned as these students will bring about an air of prosperous change in their families' lives with a bright future ahead.  Most of the rest of 233 who couldn't qualify JEE (Advance) missed it by the skin off their tooth. They are look forward to JEE (Mains) ranking list and expect to get placed in other reputed engineering colleges viz. NITs/DTU/NSIT/IISERs/IISTetc.

Kasmir Super 30 Entrance Test and Interview (2013)

CSRL substitutes books and career to the gloomy future of Kashmir.. , supporting the underprivileged and helping them make a career. With the wholehearted help of Indian Army, who have joined hands with CSRL to give a better living for the civilians of Kashmir, Open test was conducted on 1st May 2013 at 10 different locations of the valley. where 600 students appeared for the test.

79% of Abhayanand Super30 students qualify for JEE Advanced 2013

Out of 262 candidates studying at the six centres of Abhayanand Super30 in Delhi / Kanpur / Guwahati / Jorhat / Mumbai / Jaipur, a handsome  number of 206 students have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2013 to be conducted on 2nd June 2013. These students appear among the top 1,50,000 scorers of JEE Mains 2013.

These students are part of a free residential coaching programme initiated by Centre for Social Responsibility & Leadership under the academic mentoring of IPS Abhayanand. These students belong to the economically weaker sections but extra-ordinary talent and high aspirations. The students are provided with hostel, mess and regular faculty for 11 months without any fees. The funds are provided by companies or foundations like OIL India, GAIL, IGL, Power Grid, PAF etc. under their CSR policy.

These students will now prepare for JEE Advanced. 

Kashmir Super 30 Project 700 aspirants appear in screening test: Army

Army conducted the screening test for the famous Kashmir Super 30 Project on May 1, 2013 (wednesday) in 11 districts across Kashmir. Army’s Srinagar based spokesman said the program was a huge success as more than 700 engineering aspirants appeared in the screening test. “The successful candidates will be called for personal interview at Srinagar on May 4 and 6. The selected students from the poor and unprivileged sections of the society would finally be enrolled in the prestigious 10 month long training program to prepare them for entrance exams of IITJEE/ AIEEE/NIT,” he said, adding that training expenses would be borne by the authorities. “This program will give the financially challenged students a chance to prove their worth and fulfill their dreams of becoming top engineers of the country,” the spokesman said. “Abhayanand Super 30 (An initiative of CSRL) has the reputation of excellent track record with maximum of their students clearing the coveted Joint Entrance Examination for admission in IITs, the premier engineering institution of our country.” The screening test was conducted at Kupwara, Bandipore, Baramulla, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Kulgam, Pulwama, Shopian, Islamabad (Anantnag) Badgam (A) and Budgam (B).

MoU with Oil India for Abhayanand Super30 centres in North East

Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership - CSRL signed an MoU with Oil India Limited for Abhayanand Super 30 centres at Guwahati, Jorhat and Dibrugarh. With generous monetary support from Oil India Limited, these centres will give free JEE coaching to 30 financially humble but talented students from North-East. Each centre will admit 30 students. IPS Abhayanand will be the academic mentor of the whole programme.

OIL India started the journey in 2010 with the opening of OIL India Super 30 at Guwahati. With the success of Guwahati Centre in 2010-2011, CSRL opened another centre in Jorhat in 2011 with the support of OIL. This year another centre will come up in Dibrugarh.

Abhayanand wishes for the best of JEE aspirants all over the Nation

Super 30 is indeed his first love and Super30ians his first preference! However, he is all for the good of the society at large. Hence, Abhayanand wishes for the best of all JEE aspirants. His advise to all of them is to be calm and determined.

Students at various Abhayanand Super 30 centres (managed by CSRL) have their fingers crossed in anticipation. They are all hopeful and nervous at the same time!
