Assam's Atlanta Saikia has kept the promise she made to herself in Class 3 when she lost her father. She resolved to buy her mother all the comforts which her father would have if he were around. Today, she is very close to fulfilling that promise.
Atlanta has scored a remarkable 159 marks in JEE (Mains) 2018 which is an incredible feat for a girl of her resources. She has also secured 33 rank in Assam Combined Entrance Examination. "As soon as she checked her result, she looked to heavens and remembered her dad.", tells Sukanya Bharadwaj, manager of Jorhat unit of CSRL Super30 where Atlanta is a student of 2017-18 batch and is preparing for JEE (Advance) 2018.
Atlanta's result is also a vindication of the struggles of her mother whose life's mission it has been to see her daughter is a top notch institution. Atlanta is very confident of getting into an IIT this year which she missed last year though she did qualify JEE (Mains).
Last year when she came to know about CSRL Super 30 supported by Oil India she seized the opportunity and has excelled this year. Her mother and grand parents will be the happiest when she will enter the gates of IIT. And so shall we be!
